The Council of Recognized Accrediting Commissions (C-RAC) reiterates it serves as a voluntary organization with a long history of being a leading voice for accreditation at the national level.

For over the last half a decade, each C-RAC member has served as an institutional accreditor, and since July 1, 2020, C-RAC members have taken advantage of opportunities to expand beyond traditional regional boundaries serving students and institutions across the country.
